My name is Dan Boivin. I’m 39 years old and have a huge passion for duck and deer hunting. Every year I make the trek out to central North Dakota in pursuit of the mallard tornado 
. This year (2009) i’ll be leaving on October 9th with the intent of hitting a random yet to be determined town in central ND to plant my camper and hunt ducks. This year my father Butch will be my sidekick (or is it the other way around?).
I usually bring my camera with me in search of capturing the landscape and hopefully some ducks get caught in the lens with it. Hope you enjoy my mini site and feel free to leave comments.

Hay Dan, This is great, it is almost as good as being there. But there is nothing better then being there with you guys when the tornados come to your call. keep it up I can not wait for the next post

Would love to pick you brain about freelancing in ND. Would also like to hear how your Chessie did this year. Dave K. mentioned you rescued one of his dogs and he helped train my Chessie a few years back. He did an outstanding job with her. Two years ago she had 343 retrieves and an SH title. Unfortuntly this year is has been slowwww. Let me know if we can chat.

The chessie i picked from dave k. was a rescue that came thru them, it took a little work as he was rough when i got him but man he on was on fire by time we came home. in the last week he easily retrieved over 100 birds alone. I’m in midst of planning next year trip…already thinking about it.
